French Wines

The most famous growing regions in France are Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire, and Champagne.

  • Bordeaux- Known for blending the grapes Carbernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec.
  • Champagne- The most prominent grapes used are Pinot Noir and Champagne
  • Loire- The Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc grapes are used the most.
  • Burgundy- As in Champagne, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are used the most.
